Written for Matthew Shepard. Matthew Shepard was brutally beaten, tied to a fence and left for dead in the outskirts of Laramie, Wyoming. A biker found him 18 hours later.

Matthew Shepard died on 12 October 1998. His murderers were Aaron McKinney and Russell Henderson. His father's closing speech was the inspiration to 'Poster Child'.
